All Time Fave Liquid Lipsticks

So saying Kelsey and I are OBSESSED with liquid lipsticks is an understatement. We love trying different brands and formulas to see what works best for us. We get so many questions about good shade suggestions that are flattering for darker skin tones. After trying so many I finally figured out which brands and colors are my ride or dies.

Kat Von D is a brand that has always done a great job with color selection, variety, and edge. The formula of these are super matte and pigmented.

P.S.

These are a little bit drying but apply some lip balm before and you're good to go.

Bow & Arrow - True neutral nude - HERE

Kylie Cosmetics is a brand that I was always intrigued by from the beginning. Ive always loved her style of makeup. And as a fellow makeup lover I trust her taste and choices she made with her brand. I also considered the fact that she's worked with some of the best celebrity makeup artists in the game. The quality and the formula of these are phenomenal. These are pigmented but very comfortable on the lips, almost like you're not wearing anything. They also come in a kit with a matching lip liner. These three shades are my fave out of all of her lip kits.

Swatches from left to right:

Dolce K - Nude mauve - HERE

Ginger - Terracotta brown orange - HERE

True Brown K - True to the name - HERE

Anastasia Beverly Hills is what I like to call the "mother of liquid lipsticks". Although she didn't come out with lippies first, her and her daughter Norvina have mastered this formula. They're obviously very very pigmented, but they also have a very mousse like texture. They glide on so smooth and feel so creamy.

Swatches from top to bottom

Ashton - Terracotta nude brown - HERE

Allison - Pink/Peachy nude - HERE

Veronica - Plum mauve - HERE

TIP:

For darker skin tones, always apply your favorite brown lip liner before you apply these. Thank me later. xo
